street (no so tough) kitty
Hi everybody! I’m Whiskers.
A quick word to pause to THANK YOU for checking me out. This post is about my gratitude and I think you’ll see why after you read my stories!
Thanks to all for fun comments. I did not know there were so many nice people that cared about me. The ending of my story surprised me too even though it was me!
I am grateful for caring people, I wouldn’t be alive without them. It isn’t easy out there, even for people. For me, I have a lot to be thankful for and I just kept going! I wish everyone who is caring and likes to be kind to everybody, plenty love and kisses.

The most important thing I’ve learned being abandoned as a baby and living most my life in a community garden before being adopted is this:
“Just keep going and never give up UNTIL you have a better plan!”
I kept going and I didn’t ever give up though I had my dark moments when it was hard being nice but I still was nice because if you are nice to people they like you are nice back and maybe they will love you and feed you.
I just didn’t know being nice was a plan, I was just trying to survive and it helped out the gardeners because I did a lot of work for the gardeners policing and reducing the mouse population. There were days that’s all there was.
I didn’t know showing gratitude and being nice was a plan.
I just wanted to connect with other cats, be part the pack and connect to people that were nice to me. Some people fed me, others pet me, others told me I was a good kitty. But there was only one, my mom, that loved me and took me to my forever home.
Even though I’m just a cat and my home was the streets, I always kept my dignity and positivity. If I can inspire other cats (my dad says people will read this and read it to their cats) and inspire people too (he says cats will explain it to their people).
People, like pets, attract love by giving love. The purpose of life is bigger than serving just yourself.
I’m just a little kitty but I know the secret to life serves has no greater purpose than loving and helping others.

“TNR is practiced across the United States and all over the world. It’s considered best practice and is good public policy.
TNR is supported by all credible animal protection organizations including the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), the National Animal Care and Control Association (NACA), as well as hundreds of TNR groups nationwide, and the countless individuals who carry out grassroots TNR programs.”
