Review

There is no other more towering public figure from the last 50 years that has so much to share not about her career but how she found solutions to the chaos that allowed her to find calm and joy in the midst of despair. Today, in these turbulent times her message from the heart, mind, body and soul is a welcome relief and provides a great service and sacrifice to humanity by writing this book. It’s not easy nor for personal gain or ego. Tina genuinely cares about the pain and hurt that is out there and compelled to help in anyway she can. And does so by leaving the planet a better place than the one she found.

It shouldn’t be a surprise that the extreme highs and lows of Tina’s unbelievable life caused her to seek a serious spiritual awakening, a way to deal, to cope, and to prosper. After decades of inspiring others, Tina found find her peace, calm and happiness from the mire once she found herself. Like a true seeker of one’s truth and natural giver, she shares her personal struggle for one reason: to help others.

She simply didn’t want to just live in pain and distress, she knew she needed real change, tools, and a new mindset how to respond to very dark times beset with most every setback imaginable, it’s a long list. She defines her spiritual turning point not so much tied to a single religion but in a new relationship with herself. By changing herself she  changed her world.

Sparked by finding old wisdom in Buddhism, she found it helped her to have a solid sense of herself, on her own terms. Bringing lasting happiness that Tina, and everyone deserves and was genesis of her book. Until now she wasn’t ready to open herself up until she was ready. I love her truth why she wrote her story and this great book, “I always wanted to be a teacher, but I believed I should wait for the moment I had something important to say, when I was sure how to offer real wisdom. That time is now.”

And she’s humble. Hardship, helping others and intelligence will do that to you. These days, if you aren’t humble you aren’t paying attention.

Even terrible medical hardships Ms. Turner found peace with as well. Nobody is thrilled enduring problems, but what are you going to do about it? She learned better to be here kicking than focusing on what one can’t change. Then taking the next steps to free yourself from yourself that only you can do and stay hopeful.

Written just as the pandemic was underway, she offers up real wisdom for real troubles and for you lucky untroubled ones, if any exist it’s important for you too. It’s never too early to get yourself together. Tina is an existential life coach and a blessing that has reached so many readers with her deep-seeded wish to help others live another day in inspiration, centered-ness and calm is perhaps Tina’s finest hour and greatest gift to us all that happiness is possible with the right tools and the right teacher is a level up.
